The first shop that we went to was WESCOURT.
The second shop that we went to was SWL furniture. We were attracted by the banner that says : HARGA DARI KILANG.

However we were quite disappointed that their price is just the same as those "not-from-kilang", the designs look old, and the worst thing is delivery. They charge RM80 to deliver to Kampar, and you have to "suite their time". The lady told us they only deliver when they receive few orders from Kampar, and so far, they receive none. The lady added that maybe we need to wait for some time, but she promise we should be getting our bed before "new year". OK, I don't mind to wait for a week. But wait, no, what she meant was Chinese New Year! Which is 14 Feb 2009!
I burst into laughter upon hearing this!
And we were laughing all the way to the third shop - Sin Hup Fatt Furniture.

Here, the service is good, delivery is free, price is decent for both bedframe and mattress, and we manage to spot a bedframe which matches my earlier description! They deliver the next working day, so we don't have to wait till Chinese New Year!
SWL is really a bad service shop that i ever seen. Should ban it!!!
ReplyDeleteI ordered a bed frame and a coffee table (with full payment) in a receipt and a divider and a mattress (with part payment) in another receipt, promised to deliver to me (i am staying within the Ipoh town area) in 2 weeks time. 2 weeks later, the sales girl told me that the bed frame haven't send to their shop from the factory, asked me to wait, without giving a particular date. So i requested them to send me the other furniture which has arrived in their shop. She told me that she have to follow the receipts (which mean if 1 item from your ordered list haven't arrived to their shop, they won't send you the balanced items). Its a good reason ya, then i would say, my stuff was in 2 separate receipts. Haha...now she said, she have to follow the lorry route and sorry to me that my place was not in their route. And bear in mind that she still cannot promise when can i get my bed frame.
3 weeks later, (they kept quiet for 1 week), they still cant promise when can i get my bed frame, the reason being was : CNY is approaching, many customers also cant get their goods. i m not the only one who is waiting. Great! i requested to refund, then she said my bed frame was arrived at their shop! but not in the colour i ordered! See whether i would like to accept it, if not, i can go to their shop and look for other bed frame if i want to(very funny huh). Of course i reluctant, then they promised to send me the coffee table, but for the refund cheque, i have to wait for her boss to sign the cheque and go there to collect when it was done. But finally she promised to bank in to me. I am now waiting for the bank statement. My godness...what kind of service they are provided??
Yeah! Ban it ban it! That is the sole reason I publish this entry - to inform as much people as possible - NEVER go to the shop!!!!
